Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
Overview
Tatryx is committed to privacy as a design constraint, not a feature. This policy describes what data we collect, why, and how we handle it. Kairo is a local-first product—the majority of processing happens on your device.
What we collect
- Account data: Name, email address, and profile image from Google OAuth.
- License data: Your plan status and registered device identifiers.
- Usage events: Download interest clicks and waitlist signups (no content data).
What we do NOT collect
- Email contents or message data processed by Kairo
- Local AI inference inputs or outputs
- Calendar events, contacts, or relationship data
- Any telemetry by default from the desktop application
Local data
Kairo desktop processes your emails, calendar, and other work data entirely on your device. This data is stored locally and is not transmitted to Tatryx servers. The local AI model runs on your CPU or GPU—no cloud inference is performed by default.
Third-party services
We use Supabase for database hosting (account and license data), and Google OAuth for authentication. When you connect Gmail or Google Calendar via Kairo desktop, that data is accessed via OAuth and processed locally.
Data deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@tatryx.ai.
